James A. Gibson

My work spans the entire software development lifecycle. From the engineering side, I specialize in designing microservice-based distributed architecture in the cloud and informed by domain driven design. I also work with executives to create effective business strategies and better operational protocols. I sometimes audit the work of other companies. I have an increasing interest in Web3 and blockchain, specifically Bitcoin and Polkadot. Provided there is no conflict with my current employer (hidden from the world), I am open to consulting.

Prior to engineering, I worked as a philosopher working across a wide spectrum of topics contemporary and historical.

I reside in Coronado, CA with my family.
